Are you looking for a career in digital marketing and social media? Don’t have the patience or money to go to college? Then an apprenticeship could be perfect for you...

The Skillwise apprenticeship scheme offers training in social media, marketing and business admin all rolled into one! What’s more, it’s really innovative and dynamic in its outlook.

For a length of 14 months you could be looking at a salary of £15,000 - £25,000 with NO STUDENT DEBT.

While many larger companies may require degrees to apply for a position, this is not always the case for small to medium sized businesses, who much prefer practical experience.

Residential Training in an ‘Apprentice-Style Abode’

What’s also cool is; you even get to do some residential training! (Think of ‘the apprentice’ on TV and their awesome houses). During this time you’ll spend two 2 weeks-sessions at the National Skillwise Academies.

These amazing venues are located across the country from Cardiff to Bath, Wilderhope and Stratford. It’s a great way to travel and explore new places to learn, whilst at the same time meeting new friends.

The academies are all part and parcel of the scheme so won’t cost you a penny and from them you’ll get the basis of what you need to start work with confidence.

Develop and Promote ‘THE’ Place to work!

Develop and Promote are one of those companies and have signed up to the Skillwise scheme offering a place at our office in Wellingore for a trainee marketer.

We’re a small and friendly team and you’ll spend the remainder of your time with us. As a company we offer business development packages to our clients, which include anything from building bespoke websites to doing all of the digital marketing for our clients and managing their social media.

The variety of companies we work with is diverse and no day will ever be the same. So, if you like writing, posting on Facebook, tweeting and coming up with creative ideas to do with business - then this is for you!

To qualify it’s easy

1. You have to be 16 or over (and if you’re still in school you can apply for when you leave)
2. Live in England and within commuting distance of Wellingore (transport can be arranged from Hykeham, Sleaford, Grantham or Lincoln)
3. And... Not in full-time education i.e. College or Uni

A G.C.S.E. in English would be great, but not essential, as long as your writing is competent.

You’ll be paid the national wage for apprentices at £2.73 per hour with the opportunity to earn more depending on the work you produce and commission.

The role will be full-time MONDAY-FRIDAY 9-5. So no early starts or weekends; hurrah!
